Happy Birthday, Kyle. So sweet and such a fine young man. At eight days overdue he somersaulted while I was carrying him. I was so startled I jumped off the couch. Is this labor I thought? No such luck. Two days later I had to go for an ultrasound before labor was induced. The technician said, "This baby is breach you can't go natural." I burst into tears. The midwife and doctor tried to turn him when he decided to poop and we had a c-section. That kid did not want to go through labor:) Such joy. Paul's parents were first time grandparents in their seventies. They came in with two giant plastic bags filled with baby things. It was happy chaos. Kyle studies history and philosophy, has a passion for music and will make a great teacher some day.
I Love Making Art. I Love the Artists I have met along the way. It's sooooooooooooooooo Good for Me.

Going For It
I so enjoyed seeing Sharyn today. She came over with her stitching project and she stitched up a storm. I worked in my journal. So much satisfaction. Spaz and Jovee slept in the arm chairs. Life is busy. Liam is finishing up junior year in a week in a half and starts his first summer job as a desk proctor with PCC at Stonehill College in two to three weeks. Paul is coaching Liam's soccer team and they are getting ready for the playoffs. Kyle went off to his job at the Boy Scout store in Milton. We have two cars and I have been a human shuttle because Liam still has rehab twice a week. Happy, happy,

Love this Image
So happy to be working and playing in my journal. I scanned a postcard from Denmark and used this image. The original is embroidered. It was so pleasurable to incorporate beautiful images.

A New Start
It seems that my life is busy and that I always prioritize by my boys and husband first. I worry and fuss over them. It gives me satisfaction but I don't take the time to create art or journal. Balance is always a challenge for me. I am going to keep working at it. All I know is when I take time to journal or make a pair of mittens I feel so much better.
