This was really fun and I didn't feel it needed anymore journaling. I used a Michael deMeng stamp on sticky back paper and foiled it. I am sure Michael is recoiling in horror......

And another......
I have been busy working with Marie at the Stamp Act but I have still found some time to work on my pages.

Today was pretty intense. I started this page yesterday and finished it tonight. Hurray for me. Sometimes you just have to fight through it all and make art.

A busy day. My friend Kathy visited and we talked, web searched jobs and discussed volunteering at the local art museum. In the afternoon I dealt with unemployment and the bank errrrrrrrr...... Tonight I got to work on my pages soooooooooooo much fun.

It's been a long day but I caught up with my journal pages. I have really enjoyed working on them. I spent time with the cat and dogs helping them get comfortable with each other, did a bunch of laundry and talked to my sisters Beth and Eileen and my brother, John. I love my family. I had a good talk and a lot of laughs with my best buddy, Nancy.

This is my Jan 2nd page. I will leave it at that :)

I just finished the Jan 5th exercise -- this is so much fun. I missed one on the 2nd but I am not sure I am going to have time to get it done tonight.

I just finished the January 4th exercise from A Prompt a Day. I really enjoyed working on this page. Marie let me borrow a white pen and now I am off to the Art Store to get one of my own. But first I need to check in on Spaz, Jovie and Tyler my little furry friends....

I had a great day. Melissa visited and brought me a beautiful scarf from her trip to Italy. I visited Marie at The Stamp Act in Marshfield and met her beautiful cousin Pauline. We had a wonderful conversation. Paul made the most delicious pot roast for dinner. Nancy and I played with blogs and talked art. I hope to work on another Kelly page tonight.

This is my first page for Kelly Kilmer's "A Prompt a Day" web group. It is in memory of my mother, Catherine Young, who died on December 3, 2008.

This is my first blog ever. I am about to create a new journal page from Kelly Kilmer's A Prompt a Day blog -- wish me luck. I will scan my page later.
